The Alzheimer's Association

Today, our crew had a chance to reconnect with Jennifer Lepard, the president/CEO of the Greater Michigan Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, whom we first met at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the Detroit Zoo. We got to sit down talk with her about the Alzheimer’s Association and the work they do.

During our discussion, she gave us insight into some of the Association’s big events, like the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and the Chocolate Jubilee, and also discussed how the Association is working to find more ways to help caregivers.

A large part of what Jennifer discussed was how the younger generations are becoming some of the most influential advocates for the Association.

Her in-depth discussion will be important to the story thread of our film as we help our audience better understand the complexities of an Alzheimer’s diagnosis.

We’d like to thank Jennifer and the team at the Greater Michigan Chapter Headquarters for welcoming us into their office to learn more about the Association.
