As an Emergency Room physician, Dr. Mark Rosenberg saw all kinds of patients, but when his mother came in complaining of pain it was a shock when he diagnosed her with stage four metastatic cancer after reviewing the scans of her lungs.
That was 16 years ago. Since that moment, Mark felt lost at this time in not being able to help his mother and he decided to dedicate the rest of his career to treating cancer patients through an integrative medical approach.
From his offices of Advanced Medical Therapeutics in Boca Raton, FL, we sat down and learned a great deal about his integrative approach he offers patients who come to him from all over the world with various cancer diagnoses.
“The difficult part of my job is quite often patients come to me in the very late stages of their cancers almost like that hail mary pass,” Dr. Rosenberg states.
Dr. Rosenberg, who is considered a cancer scientist and oncologist, educated us on wide range of complicated issues when it comes to the microbiology of cancer. Due to his support for patients with complicated cancers stages, Dr. Rosenberg has been able to create personalized cocktail treatments combining a mixture of repurposed drugs, supplements, as well as low and safe doses of chemotherapy. He became the program director for the first Integrative Cancer Fellowship in the United States, striving to redevelop the drugs and modalities within cancer treatment. Our hour long interview delved into a wide range of topics from calorie restriction to general lifestyle and environmental toxins.
We are certain our time with Dr. Mark Rosenberg will offer a new perspective to our audience as we strive to create a dialogue of conversation around cancer treatment in our upcoming documentary, Those On The Front Lines Of Cancer.
