One of Dr. Howard Terebelo’s courageous patients, Kim McKinney a stage 4 colon cancer patient, sat down with us today to share her cancer journey but ultimately illuminate her positive attitude she wears daily. We discussed with Dr. Terebelo’s (an oncologist at Ascension Providence Hospital) more about the newer topics of immunology, pharmacogenomics, and precision medicine within cancer treatment. His insights opened up new understandings and stories we will chase in our future productions for our upcoming documentary Those On The Front Lines Of Cancer premiering this Fall. The day ended with a dance lesson between Kim and Dr. Terebelo learning a few steps.
